This Iridescent Glass Tektite evokes a meteor that has hurtled through space and burst open upon reaching our atmosphere. Like an intergalactic geode, a gleaming nacreous teal blue interior contrasts dramatically with the gnarly black exterior. This very large Tektite contains Josh’s favorite color of iridescence, a soft teal that wavers in differing light. A simple, elegant form with subtle detailing, it is one of the largest made in current time and very likely the last ever to be made like this (because Josh’s Tektite glass furnace has been re-purposed for other work).
