9.25" Josiah New Mexico Megaplanet

This New Mexico Megaplanet is a world full of colorful cities, buildings and other structures dotting continents in a peaceful blue sea. It contains an assortment of Josh's most recent canes on the land and spaceships afloat in a crystal-clear atmosphere. "Simpson Megaplanets take the complex imagery of teeming oceans, vast plateaus, and futuristic cities beyond the paperweight form into pure sculpture." So wrote Tina Oldknow, past curator of modern glass at the Corning Museum of Glass.

This 9.5" diameter Megaplanet is serialized 4.6.20 on its polished flattened base and inscribed “Josiah Simpson,” indicating it is one of Josh’s favorites.
