Made in 1992 and exhibited in Josh’s 2022 50th retrospective show, “Dark Matter: The Unseen Work of Josh SImpson.” Solid glass imaginary world with a core of blue New Mexico glass and colorful elements evoking continents, mountains, beaches, and structures that suggest the presence of intelligent life, often including a spaceship, satellite or other flying objects.
This approx. 3.5” Planet has a flattened polished base signed Simpson and serialized 10.18.92
