An inspired fusion of science and art, Lunar Pendants are an artistic extension of Josh’s NASA-grant research into how silica-rich regolith, i.e. lunar soil, might one day be used to create blown-glass structures on the Moon.
Sparked by but separate from this research, Josh transformed his own simulant regolith into a form of "molten moon dust." He shaped this into jewel-like pendants, each finished with a splash of 24-carat gold leaf. Each unique Lunar Pendant evokes sunlight glinting across the Moon’s surface in the deep black of space.
